Inspired by the small boutiques of Europe mixed with quintessential California chill, LAKE opened its doors in 2007 on Rowena Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Now located at the heart of Silver Lake Boulevard, we remain committed to bringing independent artisans into our neighborhood, with design that feels fresh, intentional and beautifully made. Laid back & elegant, refined and raw, edgy and timeless, simple and sophisticated — LAKE is where you will find inspired gifts, natural apothecary, and of the moment clothing and jewelry.

Along with design, LAKE’s community is our core. We partner with the Silver Lake Reservoirs Conservancy to steward the nature around the reservoirs; we’ve hosted pop-ups with local ateliers; our friend Western Buttercup graces our shop with beautiful florals and seasonal displays; and more than anything, we love welcoming our clients into our shop every day.
